I've made a living at AVSIM finding daily gems. The simple fact that Rob's G36 Turbo mod is missing from this thread, makes this list bogus.

This, and also MSFS Addons Linker, the Catalina scenery, the Maldives pack, NZA Simulations sceneries, MROC scenery, all Working Title mods, Unreal Weather and so on.

Top mods according to whom?

My top modifications are: 1. Working Title CJ4 Mod, the G3X and the G1X mods. Of course, there are many other great mods as well.

Ricardo - I've been experimenting with the VL-3 Mods - but my frames are going through the floor with hat I've got my end.

Which version of the G3X are you using?

Many of these freeware are so astonishingly good that I have to begin to wonder how those payware developers are going to survive. At least to me, many of these freeware airports are definitely more than good enough and I honestly don't see any reason that I want to buy a payware version.

My suspicion is that many of these freeware developers will in time become pay-ware developers.

Or not.

In the meanwhile, I don't believe any sim before now has ever developed such a huge mindshare with the general gaming public as to cause large numbers of mainstream creatives to throw their hat in, ala' zillions of freeware mods for titles like Cities Skylines, and Skyrim.

How this will affect the current ecosystem is an open question, but I have my own quiet inner speculations....

Was I wrong, or was the OP NOT scolded because he simply titled the post after the title of the video.

And I'm not a heavy drinker, I only drink on days that end in "y"

LOL, ok. The OP was not scolded, people just disagreed that those were the TOP mods for MSFS. No need for dramas.

i would say a recurring post with interesting mods could be very usefull.

there is just too much to tryout on yourself.

I have nothing against these kinds of posts, but they should be prefaced with "according to me", or "based on my flying interests".

Plus, you run the risk of offending some excellent mod creators when the post talks about the top mods and when many excellent mods have been omitted.

It's a valid point even if you disagree with it.

The video creator said this video was the first in a series. I was thinking of posting them here if nobody else did first.

Considering the reaction, I was rethinking that, but if anyone else wants to keep an eye on this, please feel free.
