Yes some people prefer the desert horizon.

what i see at this altitude is, the photogrametry is missing lightning, its just dark, it should be lit like the standard 3d modells,

it would look different from this altitude.

It adds more terrain detail with Photogrametry off ,It's the big difference for me.

Its a toss up for me. Sometimes seeing the accurate buildings and stuff is cool... BUT i get the melted, black objects. So sometimes I like it off... I see both sides.

 The photogrammetry of the big cities is superb but the detail of  surrounding terrain ruins much of the experience.
