December 10, 20205 yr Hi gents.yes I know that avsim is about flying and not about sailing the high seas. But this was too good not to show you. No worries, my next post will be about flying again. After having installed the freeware Henrik Nielsen AI ship scenery in MSFS, I wanted to see how single ships would convert. Some work, many don’t. This awesome freeware FSX battleship Scharnhorst by Klaus Novak ported over successfully. So, here we are leaving Hamburg for the North Sea. It’s December, so as soon as we reached open water, the weather started to deteriorate And as we were close to the island Wangerooge, it started to rain for a short while Thanks for viewing Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080
December 10, 20205 yr Awesome distraction from the aviation world! Hehe...and I'm one who can relate to the North Sea/Atlantic in December....NOT a fun place to be! 🤣 That model is stunning and a great series of shots! Too bad she doesn't have a seaplane you could launch, that would tie it back into aviation. 😉 Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

I agree with you, P_7878. Many FSX models seem to look so much better in MSFS. Can you believe that this Scharnhorst version that you see here was developed as an AI model. I have now ported some other FSX AI models, such as two US aircraft carriers, the USS Hornet (with B25 planes parked on its deck) and the USS Langley from the 1920s full of vintage bi-planes. Both look really stunning in MSFS. But as this is Avsim, I don't think, people would like to see them here.
