I really love these city enhancements.  Asobo's base photogrammetry is a nice way to fully realize something like the entire New York metropolitan area - you get detailed, accurate, buildings in places no dev would ever touch otherwise.

At the same time, we all know how it falls apart when you get close (esp thinking ahead to helicopters down the road), so to have hand built models replace as many key buildings as the talented scenery designers can hit gives you the best of both worlds.

Keep em coming!

I have a bad weakness for airport scenery, so I really didn't what to start buying a bunch of scenery yet. I'm going to have a hard time resisting this one. It was one of my favorites in P3D.

Not trying to start a rumor here, so please let me know if I'm wrong, but folks probably shouldn't buy this from the Marketplace. It is my understanding that we won't be able to edit files from airports purchased through the marketplace. If you plan on having accurate AI traffic one day, you will probably want to update the AFCAD, and if you purchased from the Marketplace, the AFCAD may be locked.

Easiest sale ever. Considering I live here. Lol. Just installed Air Hauler yesterday. How long until KLAS becomes a base? Lol Started at KMRY so this scenery will get a lot of action for me. Thanks for the heads up!

I can't comment on the marketplace because I can't purchase from the marketplace.  Several others are in the same boat.  I'm fairly sure the marketplace still isn't 'live' for the most part, so 3rd party updates still come via the sim updates.

I do not know about the technical installation and what or where the files are for editing.

They didn't say where it would be available first.

This statement gives me hope that it will be available from Simmarket first:  "Enhanced 3D city lighting for the wider area of Las Vegas (optional patch)"  I'm not sure if that means it's a installer option or separate file via their site or something,.

The marketplace is a good example of how not to run a digital store.

At least in my experience, it's been very quirky.  For example I had to enable UAC to make a purchase.  It wouldn't accept my Visa even though it was setup on my Live account.  Carenado was even frustrated with MS because they were so slow to update Carenado products.  The store navigation is clunky imo.
