Redwing Sim Kai Tak Aiport for MSFS

Featured Replies

Been waiting for this AP but not sure about these warnings:

VHHX KAITAK 1995 will unactive VHHH during it's use.

Due to bugs and restrictions in MSFS SDK. Please desactive all road traffic.

I think they say, AI for VHHH would not be active since VHHX would be active? If I have AI traffic for VHHX, I don't care for VHHH.

There is road traffic in VHHX . If you don't want to see the intrusive road traffic, deactivate road traffic completely for the sim. I'd rather have the road traffic on the runway and ignore it.. Just land and run over them LOL 🙂

The Q I have is How well does it work with HongKong from Sam Scene?
and How much better is this payware VHHX (19Euros)  compared to the awesome Freeware Kai Tak?

You can't remove car roads with the scenery editor, so you'll have cars driving through the airport if you have road traffic enabled.

I've now got grass over Kai Tak runway, ramps and taxiways. Something has a mission impossible about it, as after the first few uses when everything was there, it is now slowly disappearing!

I found this freeware not so bad that I had to give Money away.

If you bought it on simmarket there's an option to install a scenery to include compatibility for Freeware or Payware Kai Tak. If you bought it from marketplace it's not compatible.

Thank you.

Your Sion looks really nice. I'd love to get it when it goes on a holiday sale.
