if it's hard for you to wait for the release of the Orbx version, this free version is quite impressive! Je l'adore!

I run away as much as I can from this Google Earth import in MSFS : most of the time it's poor quality and performance killer.

Because I'm french and living at Paris, I certainly won't buy it 😉

But mainly because Paris downtown is a free fly zone in real (Prohibited 23 from Surface to 6500 ft). So for those enjoying the touristic part of sim, it really makes sense (no offense) but for those enjoying the sim part...

PS: talking of FranceVFR, they just release "Obstacles et Repères VFR" (obstacles and VFR points). Quite expensive (40€) and few improvement since FSx/P3D (water towers too much visible for example): I'm a undecided customer 😉

I'm waiting for FranceVFR to cover that whole French Riviera area like they did in the past.  It is seriously lacking in the sim so much so it surprised me.

I own most of the Orbx catalog in P3d... they have much to learn about MSFS pricing.... and so I am waiting and watching.

Even though cities are important in MSFS, I wished they would have focused their efforts on airports in tropical destinations.

I don't see myself buying too many of these cities when the default cities with mods are good enough for me.

I concur, unless the cities are on the approach path. I have to use the drones to visit these places/cities that are far away from the main airports. At least if I have helicopters, I could use that and fly around and gawk at the POIs. 🙂 I bought the Sydney city cause the Bridge near the opera house was missing for such an iconic city. I bought the city just for that. If I had seen a bridge addon freeware that would have sufficed for me. Don't mistake me, I am not from Aus, the correct /realistic building added to that city scenery does not add much value,,,although its nice to have. But if its priced well, I'll still get it. For this reason I have not gotten the city of Seattle, Chicago (this I might cause its near Meigs airport). I have the London city. Singapore city I am ambivalent especially I don't have the Singapore Intl yet.

... France will be the 3rd World Update...

The way you worded that, I think you just unintentionally insulted the whole of France! I'm sure they'd consider themselves a 1st World country!😁

I'd certainly like to see top quality Riviera scenery as I'm familiar with the area and it's impressive in real life. Cannes and Nice (plus Monaco) in particular would benefit from good non-Google import updates, not to mention the general scenery.

I don't know why but I strongly suspect France will be the 3rd World Update...

The recently announced UK update scheduled for 28th January is called "World Update 3" in the latest roadmap.

I should add that I'm happy to see that they appear to have included a pre-fire Notre Dame. Apart from the real thing eventually being returned to its former glory, I know how depressing it is to see a beautiful building of any kind in such a sad state, regardless of your nationality, religious beliefs (or lack of them), and the people of Paris are particularly affected by that by all reports.
