January 22, 20215 yr Just look on the clouds in the interior shots and it is clear that those were not taken in MSFS... Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024
January 22, 20215 yr Well its clearly stated WIP everywhere, so I would assume there is quite some work to finish up. Its a development preview not a marketing preview. More important though would be system depth functionality. An FMC that is quite functional enough to fly vatsim without issues. January 22, 20215 yr Why would you use screenshots taken in a different sim to promote a product for MSFS? Makes no sense.

Maybe because the project was started for P3D/FSX some months/years ago? Who knows... Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024
January 22, 20215 yr You guys need to chill 🙂 It's all work in progress and indeed they were working on it on FSX/P3D before, hence why the screenshots (which are old by the way, you just need to check the post date to see they are from 2018 and 2019). As for the new ones, they will show what they can show. The night shots were shown because they had just started implementing night lighting. Here is a video showing some external animations: https://fb.watch/3akvyDlLjL/ They announced they were bringing it in MSFS in early december, [...] Disregard all the anomalies that may catch your eyes as she is being re-built, re-animated and re-textured slowly from the ground up. As a matter of fact it is pretty much only some parts of the base mesh that we have used as nothing can be hidden in the new sim and I mean nothing. Chock 1.1: "The only thing that whines louder than a jet engine is a flight simmer."

Sometimes the attitude in this forum makes me despair. 3 hours ago, Ricardo41 said: Why would you use screenshots taken in a different sim to promote a product for MSFS? Makes no sense. It's a work in progress, sometimes the pics are older, or early previews, or even perhaps from another sim. Often they are teasers or attempts to gauge interest rather than some sort of cast-iron concrete deal. Although sometimes I wonder why they even bother releasing progress pics when the moment things like that show up they're treated as though they're a side of beef thrown into a cage full of T-Rexes. Pastaiolo is right, some of you guys really do need to take a chill pill. If it ends up not being what you want, don't buy it, if it ends up floating your boat, buy it. In the interim, maybe offer some encouragement or list some stuff you'd hope to see, so the developer is more inclined to take on your suggestions? Just an idea. January 22, 20215 yr 2011 called, they want their graphics back 🤣 Whilst I get it's a preview it is also a showcase (like it or not), if it looks that dated and is not finished then why not make it a smaller image? We're not a support group for developers, we're potential customers. We're not here to spur them on, they're chasing our wallets and that should be enough (I get it might partially be a labour of love for them as it's often an after-hours endeavour, and that some community members are very keen on particular aircraft, but that's an aside). I have never understood the attitude "we owe payware devs something" - we don't. No one should be unreasonable or rude and I understand tidal waves of negativity are tiresome but, if a company puts pictures out they should expect to be judged on them and comment to be passed; if they're not happy with that they shouldn't publish images to start with. If anything it would be disingenuous towards the developers to deliberately hold back feedback to protect feelings. The community doesn't need to defend the developers, they are perfectly capable of doing that themselves if they feel the need. January 22, 20215 yr Author That's true, but they did note many caveats on the Facebook page where they pasted those pics, so that was the original context for their appearance. And I'm not even remotely suggesting that we should have some kind of cap doffing reverence for a developer as though we owe them anything, all I'm saying is that you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar. Look out the window - that's pretty clearly from another sim. MSFS even on lowest settings fundamentally doesn't look like that. Pic in the OP, on the other hand, is very clearly from MSFS.

What is going over your head is, I want to purchase this aircraft for FSX specifically, and those interior textures aren't even quality for the older FSX/P3D platforms. This whole "well its only screens of a FSX/P3D model and not MSFS" isn't the problem here. The interior quality just isn't appealing at all, and no that isn't the best a developer can do with interior textures for FSX/P3D in 2021.
