Whilst they never explicitly guaranteed the 11th MS/Asobo clearly said in the Feb 4 update that they anticipated it would release on the 11th so they were rather more specific than you state.

You don’t know when they knew they had to slip. Maybe the issue happened in last min testing, or they thought they could complete something that just couldn’t be completed in time.

You don’t necessarily know a week out that you’ll hit a snag.

I’m wondering now if this latest crashing bug is likely to force a delay of the UK update given there is a good chance the two will be related.
