Make of it what you will.... This happened to me yesterday, I was so delighted....until I input my destination airport into the Waypoint Info section of the MFD in the TBM. Immediately, the sporatic severe FPS drops resumed. Haven't re-tried today. March 15, 20215 yr Like suggested in the official MSFS forums, I created a ticket for the issue. I got the response shown below. The good thing is they recognize the issue (no doubt based upon the feedback and others who opened tickets). I personally haven't tried their suggestion yet. I'm not on my flight sim PC at the moment so I'll give this a try later. If anyone else wants to give this a shot and report back, feel free! Thanks for bringing this matter to our attention. This issue has been tracked in our internal bug tracker and we're currently investigating. In the meantime we recommend doing the following: · Launch Microsoft Flight Simulator · Go to Options > General · Select Graphics · Under Advanced Settings and scale down "Render Scaling" to 80 instead of 100 or above.Kind regards, Microsoft Flight Simulator Support Team

In addition to getting 10 to 15 FPS, the sim then looks like garbage too. Woohoo! Edited March 15, 20215 yr by NightOfDreams

March 26, 20215 yr Alright, they just released the patch (1.14.6.0), so I rang up my known flight path which I had seen the FPS drops as reported in my 3/13 post. KATW->KOSH->KFDL->KSBM and then up the east side of Lake Winnebago. Varied altitudes from 3,500 to 5,500 in the Pitts. NO issues! With Dev mode on I noticed [on my setup] ~50-60 FPS with lowest, momentary drops into the high 40's when down less than 3,300. But NOTHING like the 20-35 FPS spikes before today. Will take up another flight with the Spitfire just to test again with another plane, but so far so good! 🤞 EDIT: Same flight plan with Spitfire yielded same results at this Pitts-- no drops in FPS. Even messed around with weather scenarios vs. live weather and had no issues either. Yay! Edited March 26, 20215 yr by SimFlyer14 New info
