That absolutely and 100% has little to do with the issue as when the weather is off it bears no relationship to either live or any relationship to a forecast for the location. It is just that far off when its off, which for me in the USA is more often than not. I then selected clear skies ... flew ... then selected live weather from the top taskbar and nothing changed. I thought/hoped that todays hotfix might sort it out but not happening for me. Any suggestions. Tony I don't know, I'm not running any mods or anything that would touch the weather. Could be the server, try switching to another region in the main menu. My experience with MSFS native weather has been predominantly poor. I fall just short of saying horribly poor. So two questions specifically to the post I have quoted. First, how do I determine with certainty where the server I am connected to is, and how would a user change that? And second, why specifically would the US server be any better? Most of the posts praising MSFS weather have appeared to come from those in Europe. I do get the common issue of having to restart the sim between flights to get it back, but it doesn't happen to me all the time. You switch it by clicking on your user name at the top right of the main menu and using the drop down. Edited March 3, 20215 yr by Tuskin38

Are you basing your experience on ATIS/AWOS reports? or perhaps readings instead from the avionics pages. More of my MSFS flying has been in the midwest as I mostly fly based on midwest sports teams playing schedules. I have not had the good experience. March 3, 20215 yr 224 @ 3kts and 29.92 baro even on UK now, clear skies even at the first flight. Wonderful. R5 3600 - GTX 1070OC - 32GB 3200 - NVME - 3440x1440 160Hz - VR(Quest 2) GarbagePoster™

I usually fly in FSeconomy, create plan A to B, fly it and land, go to the main menu, create new flight plan from B to C and so on. When I get to B in the first flight it's cloudy or worse, with a certain pressure, temperature and wind, when I load the new flight from B, 2 minutes later: clear skies, wind 224 @ 3kts and 29.92 baro That's how I know it's not working, the first times when it happened I even went to double check on meteoblue or other meteo sites, now I don't even need to. March 4, 20215 yr I use FS Global in Xplane when it comes to injecting real weather. It's never let me down and it's unique from some of the others because it has shed loads more weather reporting stations for accurate weather depiction. If FS Global ever comes to MSFS then I'm in.

THEN select live weather. It takes a moment (max 15 seconds) and live weather will load. Same here, since I started doing the above. Still working after every update. March 4, 20215 yr Live weather definitely working here in the UK for me. It was raining yesterday. Overcast and "manky" this morning. Try (in game) logging out and logging back in again.
