Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

Yep, Raptors have had their test fire, flaps have been wiggled, all set for launch over the next few days.

I have a good feeling about this one. Something tells me we'll see a perfect landing.

Hmm, that rocket looks rather phallic for some reason

One-track minds 🙂

What strikes me about starship is how much more like the sci-fi rockets I read about when I was young it is.  Buck Rogers, Dan Dare and even Fireball XL5 come to mind.  Particularly with pictures such as this:

I can rarely remember what time zone they are in!  Twilight Zone or Central Time.  I think the former! 👽

How come the phallus in the picture looks more like a corn silo than a rocket to me?

Noel

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

A corn Silo with a 1200 metric tons of VERY volatile corn.

Now THAT"S what I call a perfect landing.  Maybe NASA should try that.
