Only two developers that I know of have avoided inadvertently omitting having the ILS Freq fields w/ data in the G3000 MFD > Waypoint Info > Airport > Freq tab display as they do in nearly all default airport that sport ILS. These two devs are: Roman Design, of Canada, and FSDreamTeam. Because of this I won't purchase airports from Orbx or other who do not learn how to do this correctly in their airports. I let Orbx know about this nearly 6 months ago because they failed to have these display correctly in the one airport I bought of theirs, KSBA. Here's what I'm referring to. Note the first one, KSBP, a default airport, correctly displays the ILS field and populates the value, which is really nice because you can then activate w/o the need to look it up outside of the sim, and enter it manually. The 2nd screenshot demonstrates the omission of an ILS field, in Orbx's KSBA: Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. May 18, 20215 yr I have the FSDT one but only fly VFR from there so cannot comment on the ILS side of things. The airport and other scenery addons look fine and have some nice features like animated people if your into movie making. Key West does have a few water height issues with some of the bridges submerged but that is an Asobo problem and has nothing to do with FSDT or Orbx.

This is a nice something that Orbx brought to their P3D airports some years ago and I cannot understand why Asobo which has not taken up the idea. We only have the pair of dumb yellow vests we see even in the boonies 😁. May 18, 20215 yr I have the ORBX v for XP & P3D. There was no way I was going to buy it again when I have an excellent version from FSDT. I highly recommend the FSDT version. It also goes on sale if you are willing to wait just a bit. MSFS
May 18, 20215 yr Beats me why Orbx would even come up with Key West especially since the FSDT one has been out for quite a while now 🤷🏻. It's not that there is a shortage of new airports in the world to be build.

It would be more surprising if they did NOT release an MSFS version.
May 18, 20215 yr I have both Orbx and FSDT, prefer Orbx. For me it came down to Orbx having better terrain textures around the runway and taxiways, FSDT's are low quality and they were distracting. I do miss that FSDT had a better tower and animated folks, but Orbx makes up for that with having the customs building and other ramp buildings accurately modeled and textured. I can see how the ILS issue would be annoying, not something I personally have run into I guess since I use outside charts for accuracy purposes. My name is Steve and I prefer hand flying. May 18, 20215 yr I have flown into Key West many times in real life. There is no ILS at that airport.

That would be another reason I've never run into the issue 😆 .. also another reason to go Orbx in my opinion. Edited May 18, 20215 yr by MediaHypeTrain My name is Steve and I prefer hand flying. May 19, 20215 yr And EGHI Southampton! Been waiting for Orbx to do that one for ages - had in xplane11 and was my goto airport. With the awesome Southampton photogrammetry one would have imagined it would be a no brainer to do. Rant over. Sorry. Didn't mean to divert the conversation from the topic!
