May 21, 20215 yr I suppose the question, if this took a day or so to do, why didn't CS do it? Maybe they will but it comes back to the legitimate criticisms most people have about the product in the first place, this being that it is a lazy effort on their part. Is it laziness or a legality issue?  Concerning the later, it’s vastly different to alter a license product than simply linking to it. I believe the EULA prohibits the alteration of gauges for sale Matt King

I believe the EULA prohibits the alteration of gauges for sale Whilst that might be a reason, so long as it wasn't altering the default 747's panels as well, I think it would be a pedantic company which would disapprove and pursue something of that nature. After all, they positively welcomed it when FBW started doing it for the default A320 and even ended up facilitating it more for the modders to be able to do that. All sims such as FS stand or fall on how much they are embraced by payware and freeware developers, so it would be tantamount to shooting yourself in the foot to stand in the way of such efforts. As in fact the name suggests, I'm not sure that the End User Licence Agreement is one which places the same hold on developers, as for one thing they are not the end user. Any 'approved' development partner would probably be able to get a waiver for something of that nature so long as it wasn't messing up the default aeroplanes. FBW model is free; the EULA explicitly refers to resale.  I think many failed to realize the legalities when attacking CS... Matt King
May 21, 20215 yr So this is a mod for a mod, for an addon that's pretending to be something it's not? AMD Ryzen R9 9950X3D | Asus Astral RTX 5080 OC | 32 GB DDR5 6000 CL30 | 3440x1440 G-Sync | Logitech Pro Throttles Rudder Yoke Panels | Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS | TrackIR 5 | Oculus Rift S
May 22, 20215 yr Just shows how much users want a 777 and settle for an inexpensive product. I won't buy it but if you wish, be my guest and enjoy😀
May 22, 20215 yr So basically it's a mod to mod the Salty mod in order to mod a plane which is really just a mod of the default 747? 😀 Edited May 22, 20215 yr by jarmstro

So what realy is the difference ?? 🤔 cheers 😉 Edited May 22, 20215 yr by pmplayer 08.2024 new PC is online :  ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage  HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.
May 22, 20215 yr By the time the modders have worked this over, the CS 777 will be "study level". Ha ha.Â

Ha ha. It is no need for me to have a study Level plane so if the basics ( those anomalies ) mostly gets fixed ( an i think this will be at some time ) to get a more the feeling to fly a nearly 777, this would be OK for me.. cheers 😉 Edited May 22, 20215 yr by pmplayer 08.2024 new PC is online :  ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage  HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.

And if you mod a mod from a mod that's already modded, then you ultimately update the CS772 package 🙂  As shown, I switched the lower (747) EICAS display to a different MFD in 2 minutest! And there is no conflict with the CS772 mod reported in this thread. These things are not hard to do, especially for payware developers.  Â
