Anyone know if the immersion packages will be updated?

still with EA on my 787 landing lights are quite dim.

Hi There,

I work in partnership with //42 and I am the developer of mostly all new recent immersion packages. Now, All immersion V2 packages are already fully updated, they work perfectly with V4 and V5 / V5.2

787 is a V1 package.. and although I am not personally involved in the code of the V1 versions, I believe the 787 is also compatible with V5, just be sure you have HDR enabled as otherwise effects will display very dim characteristics due to the way EA blends under V5. This is explained on all immersion packages user manual, the usage of HDR is a must in order to ensure the correct rendering of the effects.

yes I do have HDR  is enabled with EA on.

not but it’s does not light up like the fslabs or 737 ive noticed.

will there be a v2? In the near future ?

In my opinion, the P3D development team can barely tolerate, but I cannot tolerate the overall level of the P3D test team. Very obvious BUG, very obvious stuttering, very obvious inhumanity, even will not report. Maybe the test team is the early version players of HF products, not the testers who really have a sense of responsibility for improvement.

Related to this version 5.2 and  HDR  is enabled with EA on I need help with adjustments to get the right coloring and eliminate the dark cockpit issue, please.

Take a chill pill. Many of us don't, yes don't, have these problems. So give the team a break.

Everyone take a chill-pill!  People from all over have different opinions.  Just because it differs from yours, doesn't mean it's wrong! 

FWIW, maybe I am simply fortunate, but V5.2 is working perfectly for me....even with EA. Minutes before this post, I completed an MP flight with my VA, and here is what it looked like. We were flying in AK, and I was using real weather. The time was a little after sunrise, so the lighting is not full. And, the cockpit of most planes I fly, regardless of time, is still too dark. But, my understanding is that a HF will remedy that. Anyway, this is how the sim looks on my system. I have nothing about which to complain.

I didn't say it was wrong, just the phraseology was, IMHO, rather attacking of the LM team.

LM has acknowledged that there are issues that require a HF. The HF is in testing. So what is factual from this takeaway is, yes the developers know the sim had bugs requiring a HF as soon as possible. Many are having issues related to these bugs.

For others to come in here and say, "working great for me, no issues here" means absolutely nothing because LM have acknowledged that in fact, you guessed it, there are issues.

 

B777ER, why are you upset because some of us have been fortunate to get solid and satisfying performance from v5.2. I think it speaks well for LM, even granted flaws that are there. So, if you are referring to my post , you got it dead wrong . I noted that a HF is likely coming . That will work for the betterment of all who are invested in the success of P3D v.5.2

Could we please get a list of the issues?  And which ones LM is trying to fix with the HF?  There are so many pages here and topics in the forums I've lost track.
