EZDOK / EZCA I need this

Featured Replies

Hi Guys anyone remember this software - it was my favorite addon when you were in flight you actually felt that sensation of flying it was great and miss it

Currently I dont see that in MSFS 2020 - maybe I'm missing something ? aircraft feels very stagnant

I read a brief posting that They may be making EZCA 4 for MSFS200 - would be an instant buy for me

I would buy it, especially as I would expect it to be relatively inexpensive.

I think EZDOK it would add more head movement, if that is what you are talking about.

While it could be difficult to set up and use, it was great in FSX once you got used to it, with virtually infinite adjustment in the settings.

I tried Chase Plane after this also, but I couldn't get on with that, mainly because I was used to EZDOK I think.

The touchdown effect was particularly good in EZDOK - if you got it wrong and slammed it, it felt like your head was going into your neck!

The only thing that counteracts this is that I think the camera system is a lot better now in MSFS.  At least, I have mine set up exactly as I want.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Once you get used to the new camera system you will forget about ezdoc and chase plane.

I've used ezdoc and chase plane. Ezdoc was one of those addons I refused to fly without. The camera system in MSFS is so simple yet so powerful, especially the drone camera I can do everything in msfs I could in ezdoc and I don't have to worry about ezdoc crashing.

How they have the hat switch set up is perfect if you ask me. It can move through the preassigned views and you can set up custom ones if you want and bind to any key or buttons

Exactly. I said the same thing when I was beta testing but after learning the new system I have to say it's pretty good

Might be a while, I think devs of these addons are waiting for certain things to be added to the camera API. Came across this in another post: https://devsupport.flightsimulator.com/idea/232/camera-api.html and https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/fix-support-camera-api-in-simconnect/334102/3

Hi Guys:

I miss the feeling of the aircraft ezca movement offered in cockpit had that feeling of floating up and down left to right - kind of like being on a roller coaster - like when I flew C172 in real life 🙂

Maybe I should crank up winds ? open to suggestions - hopefully developer will make this at some point and he gets some support from Asobo

I like how ASOBO simulates head movement as it seems natural and not overly exaggerated.

Also the camera system suits me just fine.

Go to General Options (in the ESC menu if you're flying), then click the Camera tab, then in the section labeled Cockpit Camera, there is a setting called Camera Shake.
