EZDOK / EZCA I need this

Featured Replies

I used EZCA from FSX to P3D, but now in FS2020 the integrated cameras works fine like in Ezdok, no need to use an external double software when you can do the same things in FS2020. Less external software runs out of the sim better is. The same thing for FSUIPC, at least for my purposes.

The camera system in MSFS still needs some work. Can you even save external views like you could with EZDOK and Chaseplane? Anyway as mentioned in another thread improvements such as this would go a long way:

Isn’t there another program that’s been released that currently works in the game and resembles ezdock with the camera and head movements?

Is ezdock even planning a version for this…?

I agree that I couldn’t fly without it in P3d once I had the head movements setup!

FSRealistic is what it is called for head movement but it does not override the camera system like EZDock or Chaseplane which some are really missing in MSFS because of MS and Asobo stubbornness. People should have options as far a camera system if they want. I really don't understand the denial of opening up the camera api at all its not like they have a contract within that regard thats like with weather with Metablue.

I also don't understand there is no flyby view or a legit replay system within MSFS, people use these tools for video content.

I didn't try yet in external, but in cockpit works perfectly. Why shouldn't work in external with custom cameras? I'll try and tell you.

There is a thread on their forums asking for it to be added so I don’t think it’s possible. But I could be wrong!

It is quite a simple process to create and save custom external camera views and map them to your preferred device.  Do a search on YT.

I've just looked and you are right but  this involves editing CFG files to trick the camera so while this is a good workaround - It should be added into the sim with native support like you do with internal cameras currently.

90% of folks who are constantly clamoring to spend even more money on an addon have never actually attempted to fully master the default camera system, which is quite powerful once you get the hang of it (especially of the drone camera).

Talking about cameras and head movement: I would love to disable the leaning effect in curves. Is that still not possible?

Maybe it is not about "opening" anything - more likely their camera system just doesn't have facilities for this kind of thing. They would probably have to write an entirely new API - if that sort of external control is possible at all.

Over the last two years the legacy SimConnect 6DOF procedures for camera control were not only non-functional, they have been removed from the SDK specification...

Hi Guys anyone remember this software - it was my favorite addon when you were in flight you actually felt that sensation of flying it was great and miss it

Currently I dont see that in MSFS 2020 - maybe I'm missing something ? aircraft feels very stagnant

I read a brief posting that They may be making EZCA 4 for MSFS200 - would be an instant buy for me

FSRealistic is quite good, but still not near Ezdok concerning all vibration-shaking effects... I miss them!

Does anyone know if you can save more than 10 cameras in VC? The choose is between 0 and 9, no more choice beyond or am I missing something?
