August 2, 20214 yr I'll have to make a decision then, I don't particularly want to play an Xbox game on my PC. Not that Star Citizen is an Xbox game, but they followed something similar to Asobo's plan, anyway I dumped it after a year and a half, a year and a half waiting for that one good update. Not sorry I did it. August 2, 20214 yr Author Confirmed just now that this will not work. I just realized that when you select a Restore Point that you can view a list of software that will be affected (rolled back). MSFS is not on the list. They made sure to lock every escape route!

The only difference between PC and Xbox, is the settings cannot be changed by users in the Xbox version, so they probably have only two fixed configs, one for the series X and another one for the series S. And no, the programs are not "identical", they have a different LOD strategy on Xbox which is, guess what, even more restrictive than PC.
