Yes I see your point but it  looked like that on release and unlike MSFS its been updated for many many reason but probely 85% is to do with weapons. Dont get me wrong if I could have the the F-14 from DCS with no working weapons but everything else I would happy spent $80 even if it just to fly around in the MSFS world. But at the end of the day a "dead bringer" needs it weapons working. Having said that I love the FI Spitfire but for me that plane still flys today but like in MSFS has no working guns. So it "fits" well. 

You could say to yourself your doing airshows, in MSFS. 🙂. For me it just looks so bad, I would sooner spend £150 on a pair of shoes than £30, life has shown me were its best to not go cheap if possable. "You get what you pay for" works most of the time!

I would be happy to have an F14 I can land on a carrier even if it can't shoot. That has been part of the fun in FSX/P3D for years, But DCS still looks to be way ahead for fighter simulation both visually and in realism.

David, neither is the Daher TBM 930 you fly in MSFS and post screenshots of. But I assume you don't enjoy that plane b/c compared to IRL that plane is also "so wrong".

Its funny I flow the TBM for the first time in 8 months and you point that out. Well if I could buy a PMDG TBM I would. 

Just becasue I perfure the HB F-14 to one that does not even have a F-14 hud or diplays am not showing "humility".

Well you forgot to quote how many times I said each to there own. But that did not suit your agenda did it.

If people want to fly this F-14 with blue arrows around the airport and do lop the lop and dont give a money about how wrong it is, then great am happy for them. 

But if I want to point out how wrong this version is, I will. I see nothing wrong in informing people how something should be. If you dont like that, tuff.

If people feel informed and this F-14 is perfect for them, then great but I least they know just what there getting. Again each to there own. Nothing wrong with that.

I did not say or imply or mean to, if they like this F-14, there choise is not poor but at least its a more informed chose now.

I also point out that if people want to fly a A320 then its best to use P3D and the FSL A320. (well untill fenix comes out) Nothing wrong with showing people there options.🙂

Someone on here linked to a book. I Download it on my iPad as a preview, read the first 27 pagers and bought it. 200 pagers in now and its a fantastic book.

This Guy went to topgun and later became a Topgun instructor, helped to make the Topgun film also.

F-14 / Topgun and all that comes with it all. 🙂

Here is the guy himself, if the rest of the book is like the first 200 pagers I will buy his other 2. 

What an aircraft, what a way to live your life...top guy.
