You would thing that when your looking at the canopy that they would add more than 12 polys to the curve.

Sorry it looks like a toy. MSFS is not the sim for aircraft like this IMO, each to there own OFC.🙂 IMO it looks poor...Sorry....

When ......................I feel the need..............the need for...speed...

Yeah, can't argue with that, it's obvious. The cockpit needs love.
The big issue like almost all MSFS aircraft is so unrealistic as flight dynamics especially on t.o., unstable and jumpy on cruise, etc.
These airplanes are very responsive, stable, smooth, and fluid in any regime of flight, as can be noticed in DCS.
Maybe one day we will have that.

I get the allure of flying the warbirds anywhere in the world....I too wish I could take my heatblur f14 in DCS anywhere in the world.....but not at the cost of all fidelity as evident in this add on. Utter trash it looks like.

It is of course a beta release, perhaps the final release will be more polished. It may well interest a lot of folk then.

Question  why would  one  buy  a military  aircraft for  msfs   where   you  cant  use the  aircraft   as  per  dcs  modules

well just maybe?  rather  be  flying  in  dcs  using  the  f14 least you be  using  it  to its  capabilities  ie  using  it  as  a military  aircraft

Yer and you could drive one of these becasue it drives (the version for MSFS is like this)

PAY-BNPS_OnlyFoolsAndHorses_03.jpg

or one of these as it also drivers ( DCS HB F-14)

dsc_5334_1.jpg

But each to there own. 🙂

Joking aside its not just that in DCS everything weapon side all works its also whats needed to even start this beast.

But then some like blue arrows around an airport and Ctrl+E

Personly I like a F-14 to start up and look like this, even if I dont "shoot"

This is even not the full start up its the fast version!

BTW look for the mirrors when the canopy closers

Looks like fun.

The quality just doesn't match their other default planes. This one looks like it's been brought over from P3D or something. I really hope that the final version will at least resemble the one in DCS World.

There is no denying that your choice looks superb, but it does have a nearly 30 month start and does cost circa $80 compared to circa £25 Who knows what the MSFS final version will look like when it launches and where it might be in 30 months time.

I think they bought the interior over from a scrap yard!
