AT Simulations - purchase problem

Featured Replies

I recently bought the Cri Cri for MSFS from AT Simulations but after having made my PayPal payment, I've not received any download link, nor product key.

The website stated that I'd be sent these within minutes of purchasing.

They have no customer portal on their website, and use a cart website called "2checkout" - I managed to trace my order through that site (shown as "paid") but there is no download link included and no product key.

Anyone had any recent dealings with this company?

When I purchased the P149 I got an automated email from <[email protected]>  with almost identical time stamp as the paypal notification with the purchase details.

They are of course in a European time zone but the email seems automated so you should have received it regardless of where you live.

Before panicking too much check your junk mail, just in case your email client has quarantined it.

Checked junk, checked spam, nothing.   I appreciate that others have bought the P149 and Cri Cri from them (I've watched the vids on YouTube 🙂).... but for me, something has gone wrong here - no downloads, no product key issued....... and I have receipts from both PayPal and '2Checkout' confirming my payment was successful.

Going to have to contact PayPal for a refund.  Oh well, it's a shame as I had a nice Cri Cri in X-Plane, and fancied one in MSFS!

The email key and download link is sent automatically, presumably once 2Checkout advise AT simulations.

It is just the one email so yes if that goes missing your choices are either contact info@atsimulations or cancel.

Try [email protected] first!

I did Bert.   Even copied the same emails to "[email protected]" too, as that email was on the "2checkout" receipt.

The other thing is take into account weekends and time zones.  It is right now as I post 6:23 am Monday morning in Germany where I assume they are based.

I would not expect any response to emails until at least 9.00 or 10.00 am German time which is till quite a few hours away.   I gather the US is different and does 24/7 support for a lot of things (not sure how? Mexican call centres?)  but I suspect Germany is going to be like we are here for most things -  9 to 5 Monday to Friday.

In the end though it is your call. Do whatever makes you comfortable.

Not sure what the problem was with your order but, as I own (and enjoy) the P3D version, I thought I'd give it a whirl.

Ordering via Paypal went without a hitch - and the confirmation/registration emails were instantaneous. This was 2pm NZ time (3am UTC).

After entering the Paypal info, you get redirected back to the AT Sims page to finalise the order. I'm wondering whether you missed this final step <?>.

Maybe check your SPAM folder? After the purchase, you should receive an email with a key and link.

Hello everyone!

The link has been sent to me, so it looks like I need to reply something here.

It's the fact that the orders checking by payment system sometimes takes more time that expected (longer than 20min)

It's the fact that that we are located in opposite side of the Planet that most of you guys (Novosibirsk, Siberia)

Letters to support which are about download, installation and key problems are number one priority and I try to answer them as soon as I see them, even from my phone.

Talking about this case, the key letter was automatically sent as soon as approval from 2co received, no idea, maybe gone into spam or something like that. And then I resend it as soon as notice the letter from the customer in support (4 hours since he sent it)

All the best to everyone 😉

Hi everyone,

I'll close this off, as the OP.  🙂

As Andrey said, he did indeed get back to me as soon as practical (although it was 18 hours until I received an email reply, but will be down to time zones and email server delays).

He was friendly and helpful and resolved the matter  👍

To be clear, I never did receive any automated email with a download link and product key (including into my spam), but these things happen.  Perhaps my email vendor blocked the email.    The thread here was purely to see if anyone else was aware of problems at the time.

All is good, and I have no problems with AT Simulations nor Andrey..... they're a great developer and there is a lot of flight sim talent coming out of Siberia at the moment! 😎

Blue skies everyone!

Bill-

One of the very few aircraft I am eagerly awaiting in MSFS is the ATSimulations An-2. That was a superlative aircraft in P3D, and I hope similarly captures the aircraft’s unique essence in MSFS.

Whilst prompt communication isn’t their strongest suit, they do produce incredible aircraft and have my loyalty. I’m glad you got sorted.

I'll also tag along and say that I'm very excited for the An-2 for MSFS! While I haven't ever flown the bird in p3d it sounds very reassuring that it'll be a good one from what I've heard. I also have the Cri-Cri and it's alot of fun and challenge to fly! Good dev in my book, cheers! 🙂 I hope the An-2 is not too far off from release 😄

My fingers are crossed too :).

I am very happy with the P149, it is a total rort to fly with the canopy open VFR.

If the AN-2 gains a similar good reputation it is a guaranteed purchase for me.
