It's true.  RWY 08 / 26 has a parallel water landing.

oh and you get to log some inverted time in your logbook too.

You would be nicknamed Harrison Ford for that one.

Hopefully as you hit short final the slightly wet appearance of the runway would become obvious.

Hey, he tried to land on a perfectly dry taxiway.  Not the same thing, at all.  🤣

I flew in there for the first time during daytime and was pretty close before I saw that the runway was water ( the lights had me fooled). At night, I think landing on it would have been much more possible. 

 

 

 

 

I had a look at Juneau and it was under the snow... Is there a way to get a summer texture ? Some setting ?
