For those who cannot see a difference... It reminds me of my Mom telling me that one of her friends had two kinds of chocolates in the house, one for guests who could taste the difference, and one for those guests who could not.. 😉

As an added bonus, we are including our ESP classic, PAJN Juneau, for Microsoft Flight Simulator!

But no photos of PAJN. Has anyone tried Juneau?

Anyways just bought it and cant wait to try it when I get back home.....

A little self reply. Came back home and the Alaska mesh had finished installing. I had a quick look and PAJN is well and truly there,  Nice little easter egg as it isnt stated anywhere that it includes PAJN except in a single, and locked, post on the ORBX forums....

Now we have quite a few airports in the panhandle and it is starting to be a great place to fly.

I did fly into PAJN and noticed that the duplicate runway lights had disappeared.. without knowing that PAJN airport was included..  There is also an Alaska Airlines plane parked at the gate.. 🙂

yep I just tried it. Got an alaskan airline and an Air canada CRJ at the gates. And the pontoons and water runway were present with heaps of statics as well. The red GA hangars are also there. Funny they are not marketing this in the product details on their store....

Alaskan airports all look very bland, like default MSFS airports that's why ahah 🙂

You can always throw a few dollars at this random addon ...

That looks like a good bush strip  🙂 But it is a region that I have yet to fly. On the other hand, I have been simming the panhandle for 10 years, despite never have been in America IRL.

Trust me I have thrown quite some $$$ lately on Alaskan scenery in MSFS, with Ketchikan Klawok Petersburg Wrangell.

But yes I still reckon main airports in Alaska are very basic and they do look bland compare to airports in other parts of the world. Probably because the scenery around is just gorgeous! They dont need to make their airports look good 🙂 On the other hand their bush strips and water bases are amazing! Big Misty moorings fan

Many thanks indeed for the first useful comparison

Does this cover any of the Yukon? Flew through the Whitehorse, Burwash area a few weeks ago and it looked like FSX default.

Not seeing much of a difference

Tell about a counter-productive video 🤣. I wonder whether the guy has really the Orbx mesh installed.

Thank you, good job contrary to the video. A bit skeptical about the 5 m resolution or the default mesh in the four settings you chose is already very good
