After all the posturing by Orbx over the past year saying “it can’t be done” and “they will look into,” when it could actually be done from the start, there we go. Other sceneries need to give us this option now. Well done Pyreegue!! Thank you Edited September 11, 20214 yr by daan_vb 🛫

September 11, 20214 yr I wonder why both, Pyreegue/Edinburgh and PilotPlus/Bristol do not have their new rain drop effects on both sides of their passenger terminal glass windows. Pyreegue only from the inside, PilotPlus only from the outside. in your airplane cockpit the rain drops are visible always from both sides. September 13, 20214 yr Commercial Member Hi guys! Big thanks to all of you for your warming feedback on this new update and I'm ultra excited that you're enjoying it as much as I do. I did my best to include everything you asked for using Google and my trusted source @Donka Though some stuff that I'm not sure how to do properly (Mesh editing is my nightmare!) was left out. By the way, what bunnies are you guys talking about? Have literally no clue what those might be, I tried to look it up on Google and found exactly nothing. Pyreegue only from the inside, PilotPlus only from the outside. in your airplane cockpit the rain drops are visible always from both sides. To have rain on glass you need to apply a special material and if that material is applied for both sides (inside/outside) it'll cause flickering/weird see-through effects so we're limited by that. I chose to have raindrops on the inside rather than on the outside because when you're in your cockpit you can't really see that rain on terminal windows as opposed to when you're up close looking at the apron from the inside. So we'll wait for google/bing/youtube/whatever to gather some better pictures/videos and get back to it. New project is currently doing really great and hopefully I'll announce it this week. Cheers

I am glad you have mastered this and other tricks, like no rain inside a building when it rains, unlike some other scenery developers where the ground floor becomes wet, or is that just as real as it gets? 😊 I also think all glass should have some distinct blue/green tint, otherwise it looks as if the glass is missing from certain angles. Depends on types of glass/thickness/coating/other things. From all the pictures I've looked at the glass at Edinburgh's airport is mostly black on all pictures. You might've noticed that tower glass is distinctly green though, so it's not something I didn't pay attention to.
