And aside from the fact I can't participate in the Orbx forums I do like the sceneries and purchase each new one as it becomes available. Suggestions are always welcome even if they are not adopted. November 3, 20214 yr I was told I "disrespected JV on another,( non OrbX) forum" causing the ban. I was taught that respect was earned, not demanded. I agree Noel, well worth it. Sue
November 3, 20214 yr Moderator I learned while a Cadet at Kentucky Military Institute that there are two forms of respect. The first form is easy, being automatically given as respect for rank, the second is harder being based on having to be earned by one's attitude and actions. November 4, 20214 yr True story Fr Bill... I arrived at the weather Flight office one Saturday morning for our drill weekend and our commander had called in saying he'd be late. I took roll and two of my troops were absent. One the people told me a major so and so had come in and commandeered them. I went major so and so's office and my two troops were painting the walls. I asked him why he didn't have his own troops paint his office. He said they had other duties to perform. I told my troops to get back to the Weather Flight office. The major told them to stay where they were and continue painting. I raised my most authorative voice I told them to get their butts back to WF office and then turned to the major and told him, "Nobody craps on my troops but me major. The next time you want some help you come and see me." The major said, "I'll have your butt for this sergeant." But I never heard anymore about it. Although whenever I passed that major in the hallway I always got a dirty look. That major learned that a senior master sergeant sometimes outranks a major and that senior NCOs can do things and get away with things officer's can't And I'm sure those two troops I 'rescued' from painting the major's office passed the word to the rest of the flight that I had their backs. I'm assuming that is you, and you were banned for a giant copypasta of a Viagra scam, so it's most likely that your account was hacked. Just open up a ticket on our helpdesk and make a ticket with your forum username so management knows why I will unban you. I'll give you some more details in my reply.
