November 4, 20214 yr Asobo, can we just a checkbox for "As real as it gets". You only need to check the box for full realism. Simple. Edited November 4, 20214 yr by Greazer http://youtube.com/c/Greazer

But 95% of all users have no idea what "as real as it gets" actually is, since they have zero hours real flight experience. That's right, these armchair pilots thinks they know what they are talking about and thinks MSFS2020 is a god's gift dropped from the sky. Its a product that is always a WIP and always evolving. It will NEVER belike real life with our current technologies, but what we have now, its very good to most audiences An old saying...there is nothing like the real thing 🙂😉 and i am sure most knows what i mean 😄😉

Turbulences I got plenty when flying in areas sometimes flagged by sigmets (Africa, South America over the Andes, the Alps), fog and low to very low visibilities below minima I encountered many times to a point where a go-around was necessary: Kamchatka, Prince Albert CA, Calgary, Sudbury. Evidently wildfires or volcano ash clouds are not (yet?) shown. Crosswinds, well, where could one fly to experience none? On another MSFS forum, a user was bitterly complaining about violent turbulences in an area (Chili)... where FIVE sigmets were active with warnings of severe turbulences (he had no clue what a sigmet was anyway and never bothered to check weather anywhere he flew)...
