What do you guys prefer and why? I'm currently using legacy but curious to know your thoughts on the modern take? Does it feel more natural and intuitive and makes things easier to control when in modern vs legacy?

I prefer legacy and I use the mouse to turn knobs and push buttons.

It would also be good and reasonable that in legacy mode the white dot did not appear but that's not the way Asobo sees it...

Legacy if only for not having that shiny halo thing around the knobs. Feels like a mobile game

The white dot is literally an insult

"Hey guys.. I know this strange thing a mouse cursor exists.. But like we should create an overly annoying white dot that replaces the mouse cursor, highlights that control and negatively improves the UI..

Legacy. Modern just seems like some mutant accessibility option for controller users.

I only see that white dot when moving the camera with my controller. I've never seen it when moving the camera with my mouse.

I also don't understand why people find it annoying? It vanishes as soon as you stop moving the camera. Seems like a very odd thing to complain about it.

Agreed. Let's not forget that with the addition of the Xbox users, this title has a lot more non pilot users or non flightsim users than ever before. The need for additional "FlightSim for Dummies" menu options is there for these users. At least experienced users can turn them off.

That white dot shouldn't be there, especially if we opted for Legacy mode under navigation. It should at least be tied in with that option. PC simmers don't use and interact with the cockpit the same way as an xbox user would. So by having that white dot appear out of nowhere right smack in the center of your screen where your eyes are aimed at most of the time can is quite distracting for me and ruins the immersion.
