November 23, 20214 yr I had one button on my HOTAS X52Pro throttle configured as: PRESS and HOLD and then move throttle full forward and that way the throttle went in reverse. But after SU7 this doesnt seem to work (not for me at least). Press for toggle works somewhat, but in a random way? How do you properly configure this? November 23, 20214 yr I am having the same problem with the Asobo Porter, so not sure if this is another general bug after SU7, or if I am doing it wrong. I can do it by grabbing the throttle with the mouse, but when landing it isn't ideal - you need to be an Octopus with a lot of fine dexterity! Edit: My thrust reverser controls are set up properly, so not sure why. Edited November 23, 20214 yr by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). This is simple Engine Template issue which will be fixed by Asobo. Your HOTAS X52Pro is OK. You could Test your HOTAS with 930, because 930 don't use Engine Template, it has own code. November 23, 20214 yr Try setting a button to “throttle 1 decrease” instead. Should “resolve” the issue. I use this with my honeycomb at the bottom of throttle stop since it’s a button press. Works good. Just hold her down and wallah reverse. Can confirm it works with the milviz porter as I was slogging around in it yesterday. November 23, 20214 yr My reverse assignment isn't working either. Good to know it's Asobo's problem and not my controller. I'm not sure I understand @CaptainNick 's solution but maybe tonight when I get home I can take a look -- thanks Cap'n Nick Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

So in effect when I pull the throttle lever into the "reverse" range it is then holding down that button. Forcing the throttle into the reverse. You can assign it to any button and just hold it down like the old F2 assignment in FSX and P3D Nick Silver http://www.youtube.com/user/socalf1fan Ryzen 7 5800X3D, 64gb ddr4 3200mhz ram, RTX 4080 Super, HP Reverb G2 v2, 4K Tv Monitor

Anyway yes my HOLD reverse function isn’t working on the HOTAS, I’m sure they’ll address it in the hotfix if there is it to be one.

Glad I am not the only one... thought I was going nuts. Exactly the same issue with the X52 pro here. And I must admit I can’t make any of the alternative solutions work either 😩

I indeed was trying in the Milviz Porter. Will try the Throttle 1 decrease workaround. EDIT: That works! Thanks! It's not quite as good as "reverse thrust toggle" but it's ok. When 'reverse thrust toggle' actually worked (in SU6) I was able to modulate the reverse thrust, although it was by moving the throttle in the "wrong" direction (fwd). With "throttle 1 decrease" the throttle animation does move in the proper direction (down/reverse) but it is all-or-nothing...because the Honeycomb down detent is just a button I guess. November 24, 20214 yr We have sen in the past several cases where one aircraft interferes with the binding map of another. Weird but pretty well documented now (eg Rob young G36 and floatplane gear). Probable that it is the case again. November 24, 20214 yr This works perfectly. You just have to press and hold the button down for full reverse to build. Then finger off button and a quick push forward on the throttle lever to turn it off. I had a great time flying the porter again last night. I set 'throttle decrease' at the bottom of list, rather than just 'throttle 1 decrease', as I am expecting the Twin Otter soon and we will need both engines reversing on that!
