Yes that is exactly possible. Assign an AM with that the cores will be assigned. And then assign the main and render core also via your P3D config.....so in fact your 10900k incl HT on, will now be used as if HT off ...and any main thread as You wish and render thread like you wish

Amazing! Thank you

Isn't this just like applying an AM in the prepar3d.cfg then?

Yes....but with more options now.....like assigning any core your like as main thread or render thread etc ... possiblity are huge now...and at my end P3D performed better then ever.....very smooth.....tested at ORBX TE KLAX.....incl traffic......above 40 fps in VR!

Also I would recommend to use PBR ground textures and trees! I can't imagine ORBX will update these to PBR....

Where would we get PBR ground textures and trees then?

5.3 is great......I am very curious about how they will proceed with a major release any time in future

Do you have any screenshots? Were sunset / sunrise sky colors improved? Also really curious if there has been improvements to cloud coloration as well.

PC specs: i5-12400F, RTX 3070 Ti and 32 GB of RAM.

Simulators I'm using: X-Plane 12, Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) and FlightGear.

This is now standard in p3d! All their textures are now PBR out of the box. Autogen, trees, ships, vehicles, ground textures airports etc

Is this a hint that they might be considering a move straight to v6? 😉

So we need to choose between better textures, autogen and vegetation (else there wouldnt have been a market for Orbx upgrades in the first place), or PBR....?  Or have LM actually improved the quality and variety of textures themselves?

Where are the details on this as far as the options to look at changing in the config file?
