Really excited to see some screenshots. I love the natural EA lighting and would love to see EA sky colors and clouds being improved.

PC specs: i5-12400F, RTX 3070 Ti and 32 GB of RAM.

Simulators I'm using: X-Plane 12, Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) and FlightGear.

ChasePlane has also been updated

*tongue in cheek*

Goddamit! I need more options to use VRAM, 5.3 is only using 6Gb, that means I have 18Gb spare going to waste! 🤣

*tongue out of cheek*

With Vsync off I am getting 70+ fps in 4k with all settings nearly maxed, this seems a pretty impressive performance boost?

Do you recall how that VRAM compares to 5.2 in the same scenario? I’m eager to test when I get a chance, but I’m worried all these additional PBR textures will negate any efficiencies they made in VRAM usage.

How was it before?

Also would like some screenshots of EA sky and clouds during sunset/sunrise.

Has the abrupt weather change while using EA been fixed? I'm surprised no one raised this here yet 😃

I assume for the PBR improvements there is a need to update the content component?

I’ll be performing my standard fps test at SimWings Heathrow with plenty of AIG Ai aircraft embedded in the sim with v5.2 HF1.

After updating I’ll run the same test again. This will be fascinating as there appears to be quite a performance boost. 👍

You will need a full reinstall of all 3 components this time regardless, as mentioned by LM.

IN what a/c Ray?  Just tried the NGXu and whilst its good, Im still only capable of managing 40-45fps there, its still relatively poor

I think you'll find most people not just biting your hand, but your whole arm off too for only "managing 40-45fps" at EGLL, while using a complex airliner.

40-45 FPS is bad?
