December 26, 20214 yr I had given up 6 or 8 months ago when Dell finally cancelled my order with the brief message - No longer available. Amazon's response was "We don't know if or when we will ever receive more of this product". I gave up and bought the Airbus TCA Quadrant but the addons were on backorder until a couple of weeks ago. Now I am seeking some basic profiles for the Warthog for MSFS. Anyone have a link or jpg for the default MSFS assignments or a personal one they are willing to share? The Thrustmaster Warthog makes the Airbus TCA feel like the plasticware that you get at McDonalds with the ice cream sundae. This is the real deal in an unopened original box. Weighs just short of a ton and feels like the stick resistance when they let you sit in the seat of one of the military jets at the static display at an airshow. Reminds me of a Blue Angel. No doubt many of the DCA guys have this controller, but, probably not so many in MSFS. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all. Regards, Ray When Pigs Fly . December 26, 20214 yr B&H has always been a great online store for the Thrustmaster Warthog in the US. They have them in stock most times and are quickly resupplied. December 26, 20214 yr Sorry have nothing to share but enjoy your new stick! I bought the Warthog stick and throttle about 12 months ago, upgrade from my plastic Saitek yoke and man what a difference! It's absolutely worth the cash and I probably won't ever need to change it. Thomas Derbyshire

Gz. You dont need any profiles or anything. The only tip i would give you is to set curves for pitch and roll to 50% and see how you like it. Make a new profile for every aircraft and set controllers to your own liking. I split the throttle so the right is a throttle and letf throttle for a mixture axis for GA's or even a spolier in some cases CRJ. You should try DCS now 😛🙂 If you really want to give the HOTAS a full work out 🙂 Edited December 26, 20214 yr by Nyxx David Murden. NOBODY had the Warthog in stock more than a couple of hours and I missed all of them. Thanks. I have no idea where or how Santa found this one, but, it is a super upgrade. When Pigs Fly . December 26, 20214 yr One trick is double the available buttons and hats. The heavy springloaded flipper on the stick can be used a 'shift' key. Actually any button on any make and model of controller can be a 'shift' key. If so, then it will do nothing when pressed. But it will change what command is assigned to whatever other button is pressed at the same time. It takes no extra effort to depress the flipper with your pinkie as you press another button or hat. Maybe, a button to raise the flaps becomes lower the flaps if the shift lever is also pressed. Or maybe you have a hat that slides the eyepoint up, down, right, left. With flipper (the shift key) pressed, the same hat could tilt the view up, down, right, left, instead of slide the eyepoint. Eyepoint movement is like raising or lowering your seat, or sliding the seat sideways. Tilting the view is like spinning your seat, swiviling it clockwise or anti, or leaning it forward and back like a recliner. This is sometimes called panning the view. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. December 26, 20214 yr The shift keys on ancient mechanical typewriters are practical because you don't have to move your hands to use them. Just wiggle your pinkie to press left or right shift key while your other hand presses another key in the normal way at the same time. The flipper on the Warthog stick is also practical like that, just wiggle your pinkie to depress the flipper while your other fingers move a hat in the normal way at the same time. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. I would love to get somthing of a higher quality like this, but since I fly the bus 95% of the time - there is nothing of this quality with detents on the throttle. So, I think I will have the purchase the plastiky thingy CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro | GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K

I was looking closely at this device and also (side by side) with a photo of the throttle unit Unit. For the life of me I can not see in any way how this works, maybe there is some throttle disassembly needed. But thanks anyways. December 27, 20214 yr I should have mentioned the software which comes with the Warthog was worthless to me (buggy and unreliable). So I just program both pieces of WH in MSFS. MSFS controls allows sending multiple commands to any button or hat (make it do 2 or more things at the same time). or using a shift key flipper to do 1 of 2 two things depending if your pinkie is simultaneously holding down the flipper. Everybody has their own idea of what to assign where. I've used almost identical assignments in every version of FS from F98 onward. (The CH fighterstick pro is a copy of almost the same real world military stick as the Warthog stick). 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. It took less than 30 second to find what your asking. You undo 2 screws very easy to see and do as its deigned for it, drop it in, put the 2 screws back in =job done a 2 min job at most.
