MK-Studios & JustSim both have EFHK on offer, & there are a couple in .to.

Anyone have a view as to which is the best?

Well Justsim EFHK is on sale until the 7th of January so it's cheaper than the MK Studios EFHK by approx 2.5 euros. But Justsim usually charges 5 euros for a major update and I'm not sure what MK Studios does. Flightsim.to has a nice freeware version but all of a sudden they've made me feel bad because I run an ad blocker and refuse to turn it off.

I do like MK Studios Vagar and Keflavik so adding Helsinki would seem natural, but I'll wait til it's on sale.

I would generally buy an MK Studios version of an airport over JustSim.

I use the freeware Vantaa (EFHK) and I think its great.

I see MK Studios as a middle class developer. Their sceneries are definitely better than freeware sceneries but I personally would not spend 20€ on MK Studios' EFHK.

Only if there was a 50% sale I'd think about getting it, because 10€ is a fair price given the quality (but then again, why would I buy an airport for 10€ instead of 20€, just because it's cheap and I don't really like to fly there because it doesn't look as I'd expect a payware scenery).

If you're willing to spend money on high quality sceneries only, you have to wait until FlyTampa, ORBX, Jetstream, Digital Design, @pyreegue or @Mir // Flightbeam are creating a Helsinki addon.

That's the way I'll opt for, but thats again just my personal opinion 😉

Honestly I'd go with the JustSim version - especially with the sale. I'd say that FSElite article still holds true in regards to the MSFS versions. 

Just Sim looks just ok in the day time but the terminals look awful at night. This is looking in at Gate 21 near the control tower. In the day time the windows are olive green for some reason.

I'd go with MK, they actually modeled the terminal interiors.

Also, you can not compare P3D versions, MKs new Helsinki looks nothing like its P3D version.  Look at actual screen shots of the product.

This MK you can see they spent a lot more effort making the interior look decent when you are parked.  Just sim looks like its out of FS9.

Usually i forget about JustSim if any other credible developer sells the same airport. They mass produce airports and the quality suffers probably based on how quick they put them out. In P3D the performance was also pretty bad, i would say they're not optimized at all.

Few months ago bought Justsim version of EFHK for msfs. Otherwise would be ok but optimization is extremely poor. Frame rates drop so much it’s basically useless.

I also own sceneries by other developers which are more detailed but still run very smoothly. I refuse to go low on my settings just because of this one add-on airport. I have no idea why performance hasn’t been issue in the reviews I went through before buying. So I can’t say if it will work just fine on different setup.

I do not have experience on MK-studios but because of Marketplace’s no-refund policy I will avoid Justsim in the future.
