"Once you leave the flight, PC users will receive an update to the sim." They way I read it is that update won't be available if you are in the air.

I think they mean 'leave the preview', which is the same as leaving the beta.

Here's how they explain it:

'Xbox Insider Hub’ PC Users:

  • When you leave the flight, your sim will take another update when 1.21.18.0 is released, but the version number will remain the same.
    • Open the Xbox Insider Hub
    • Click on Microsoft Flight Simulator – Sim Update VII Update
    • Click on “Leave Preview” and then “Continue”

So they're leaving the broken weather as is and the (new in beta) VR mouse Bug until SU8 then? If the patch notes remain the same then that suggests so 🙄 

Well at least the main/original VR mouse Bug was fixed I suppose, just hope they get their act together and pull their sleeves up for SU8 - much to fix!

So if you are not on the beta on/after 13th January we will get this as a Hotfix or in the new SU ?

That I have read but it states that the beta is going live. If they had written that it was going to be released as an official Hotfix I would understand right away..

The Beta has already been live for weeks, their wording is a bit iffy but essentially the beta build will become the public build tomorrow/today.
