You mean a lot of the Youtuber folks who get given products for free?

Having fun nonetheless.  No doubt we have a classic in the making.

Yeah, I saw a couple of them having fun and trying their hardest ignoring some of the issues. I would rather get a better opinion of a product from a 100 grumpy old men on Avsim than a Youtuber trying to make a fun video with a product he/she got for free.

I do hope we have a classic in the making. I guess time will tell whether Kok and co. will do the right thing.

Here's a good one -

I do have fun with my Twotter but in all honesty the fun won't last much if the bird stays in its current condition,  and Aerosoft could very well lose a customer if it is not fixed.

The irritating bits is that the folks at Aerosoft clearly do not care about losing old hands, they've finally found a way out of that niche market they were stuck in...

Good for them, not so for a few of us !

Cheers,

I love some of these Youtubers that do a review of a new aircraft, and you can tell they haven't spent more than a few minutes  trying to figure out how everything works with it.

Yeah I watched the Favignano one. He at least mentioned the sound and said something like 'shame on Aerosoft for releasing it too early and they should have waited until it was ready'.

Not sure whether he was on a free copy though.

Yeah, I agree. Some of them aren't sure whether it isn't working because it is a bug, or it is because they don't know what they are doing.

Either way, I am sure their 'review' is slightly biased because they don't want to stop Aerosoft from giving them free stuff in the future.

It is a lazy sub-par release. Overlooking these issues and making excuses isn't going to help now or in the future. Kok has obviously said a lot of stuff that isn't true. He is well known for his rudeness and arrogance. However, if they produced good products I could just ignore that FACT.

I hope they fix this. I really do. Shame on them for releasing the Twotter in this state.

They will fix it soon. Have you ever purchased a plane for MSFS or any other sim that hasn’t needed a reasonably quick update or hot fix? I haven’t and I have been simming for 30+ years. Aerosoft and Mathijs have been clear from the start that they are not in the study level aircraft business. You should either temper your expectations or stick to X-Plane and P3D.

Has nothing to do with the sim, if a developer is going to sell half finished aircraft for a money grab, users should just avoid purchasing those aircraft.

If all we are going to get are planes dumbed down to run on an XBox,  X-Plane 12 is exactly where I am going to go,

Crumby looking graphics, isn't acceptable to me anymore in 2022.

One has nothing to do with the other. The Kodiak and the DC6 are two of the best planes I have flown in years. Has nothing to do with X box, blaming this on X box is just garbage that developers spew trying to cover up for their poor , unfinished products.
