January 27, 20224 yr Commercial Member For me the old 3 is special. When a lad I flew on an Ozark DC 3 from Cedar Rapids Iowa to Chicago. I remember looking out the window at the wing and seeing oil streaks and not sure what to make of that. We seemed to have stopped at every little airport along the way as well. You own one, you could easily have access to it - why not create a PMDG level of a DC3? Not my sort of plane but if they literally made a virtual version I'd partake. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

I flew on an NAC DC-3 from Wellington to Palmerston North in 1965. Window seat over the wing. I remember the wing top surface was composed of individually riveted? metal sheets & each sheet flexed & rippled in its own way during buffeting aloft. Fascinating to watch. I also remember, the aircraft, being a tail dragger, that getting to my seat felt like I was climbing stairs The DC-3 has a special place in many sim flyer's memories. Can't arrive in MSFS soon enough. T45
