Indeed. When did we ever get feedback AT ALL from the devs of FSX and the likes? We got two updates for FSX in a year or so and that was it. The feedback we get from Asobo is unparalleled, unlike anything I have ever experienced in my 35 years of flight simming... and STILL people moan. Geez. Get a life. Okay, I am sure I've posted my share of not too positive posts whenever I had some problems with the sim but I've always been positive about the overall experience and the direction this sim is heading and how the devs are communicating and keeping in touch with us. As I posted above I am extremely happy with what we've got already and I am getting more and more annoyed and irritated by those moaning morons who just can't keep their mouth shut. If you don't like MSFS then word not allowed OFF please. Get lost. Don't bother us with your endless word not allowed.

Well despite the fact I agree with many of the moans (weather, thermals, lack of the deep/study level planes I'd like etc) which have recently broken the immersion for me somewhat , I can't pretend I don't enjoy my 2-3 flights a day in MSFS and a lot of the time it really isn't that bad and a lot of fun. It's I think we get too used the good stuff and take it all for granted. 

I looked at some of my screenshots in P3D v5 nearly 2 years ago now, and then back to MSFS and the difference was stunning, as is the performance I am getting mostly nowadays compared to back then.

So I am still pretty happy. And based on this last Q&A I also have faith (and crossed fingers) that Jorge really wants to make the sim absolutely first class, and also has the money, time and resources to do it from MS. So I can wait.

Perhaps you are referring to thermals around mountains.  I don't think thermals are modelled yet, although I think thermals are on the list of tasks Asobo plans to do.

1/ I am referring to anabatic/katabatic winds as these were those Asobo referrred to in the early EP weather (or aerodynamics) video.  I don't do gliders so it is maybe the same phenomenon as thermals. If it is, Asobo has said that they were planning to implement them in the future not they were implemented.

2/ you experience them, I don't. And as I said upthread I have not seem anymore the nice turbulences over ridges since SU7 that were before in the sim.

Are you sure you didn't? My C-170 was shaking all the way when passing ridges the other day.
Or is this not what you mean?

I share this feeling with you. The fanatics on both sides would us to believe that it is a black or white picture. It is not.   An excellent sim that doesn't fulfill (yet ?) what we were expecting from the hype. As you see I put yet with an interrogation mark.

I am glad that you did. My sincere hope is that I am wrong 😉. It is maybe coincidental with the time and the places I flew but I didn't see any where I flew recently. Flying mostly the MV Porter these days (can't enough of this bird !).

I've probably completely missed the point of this discussion, because I'm jumping in on this little snapshot of quoted comments, but if you're not seeing the effects of aerodynamic/atmospheric, etc., conditions in flight with certain aeroplanes, but someone else is seeing such effects, that is possibly due to what Seb has mentioned many times in different contexts: the physics models are in the sim, but it's up to the aircraft developers to apply them to each aircraft and how, if at all, they interact with the model.
