Whats with all of US?? Maybe you are the one who failed at communicating your point you were trying to make.

Well I can tell you one thing for certain, I am not the one who personally attacked another forum member. But hey, there seems to be no shortage of that these days.

We all have our opinions and interpretations.  To my mind equating either MSFS or Simmarket to 'the money grab market' is both insulting and derogatory.

You seem to be having difficulty reading and understanding what I wrote, but I am uncertain as to why this is the case. I have explained this over and over again in this same thread, but you will have none of it. Nowhere did I refer to either Simmarket or MSFS as the "Money Grab Market." As I already stated, I was referring to the many developers that have come out of the woodwork selling anything and everything to make a quick buck. This is my opinion, and I did not attack any other forum members. You chose to take exception to it. Personally, I find it insulting that you are attempting to put words in my mouth. For some reason, you continue to want to interpret what I posted as something that wasn't there. Trust me, I know exactly what I wrote. Hopefully we on the same page now, but I will not hold my breath.

Cheers, Pete

Moderators, feel free to lock this thread at any time. We are going in circles here. I will be sure to think twice before posting anything in the future that may potentially ruin someone's day.

I think that Pete was trying to say that the popularity of Microsoft Flight Simulator has opened up the floodgates to a tidal wave of products, not all of which are at the level of quality that we would like. Trying to sort the wheat from the chaff can be frustrating, particularly when some of the chaff happens to be (for example) an airport of interest.

Oh, and as for impulsive responses.......the path to the dark side is easier, and more seductive. Don't give in to it!

Spot on! Perhaps I could have worded it a bit better in retrospect, but it was early and I hadn't had my coffee yet.

OK.  I'll exit stage right with my last line in the script...a question.  Why doesn't anyone who has a product to market have the right to have it sold or any seller have the right to sell to sell that product without the derogatory term 'money grabber' being bandied about?

Hi Pete,

I don't think you meant anything bad when you wrote your first post, but I must say, it was bound to misinterpretation. IF I correctly understand you, your frustration (I read that into your first post) has been caused by new releases of some developer. I actually tried to track that down before your post got any responses, but I did not succeed. From my perspective, what sticks from your first post is a general dissatisfaction with the offerings of Simmarket and MSFS.

Cheers,

Peter

I suppose you are correct. I enjoy MSFS and I love Simmarket, which is my go to place for addons. It is more that when I open up the site to take a quick look, there is so much new content in there, it is almost overwhelming. No big deal though.

Cheers, Pete

Your usage of the word “right” makes no sense. Do I, or anyone else, have the “right” to have an opinion? Based on my understanding of your definition, we don’t have that right? Is that “right?” Basically, what you are saying is that my opinion is in violation of that seller’s rights. Do you see how this works? What a bunch of utter nonsense.

Criticism is a valuable tool for training and improving a product.

Topic about a bunch of addon releases...

Zero discussion of the addons, all discussion of discussion about discussion and why discussion is just discussion.

hec.

I am taking an educated guess that the OP and other naysayers do not shop on Amazon!  LOL!

Possibly.

I've been pretty loyal to Simmarket in my FSX/P3D days and still want to be. I wish their desktop app was a bit better, kind of like Contrail, not a big fan.
