Patiently waiting for EICK Cork Airport to be released. Now that is an airport which is loooong overdue....

Well, with AIG being back in the business, I wonder if this release has an adjusted ADE? If not, a no buy from my side...

Yesterday I had the PSXT Leaner running for a few hours so when making my first flight to LIRF today I will have realistic parked ac at arrival 😀

PSXT has a tool called Learner. You run Real Traffic + Learner. In the Learner GUI you enter a ICAO code of an airport where you want to make an airport file for.

The Learner adds the Live Aircraft for that airport to the airport file as parked aircraft. The longer you let the Learner run the more accurate the airport file becomes. You do this without MSFS running. In the past you had to go to the airport inside MSFS to build an airport file, but with the Learner that is not needed anymore.

 I do it for every new airport for 2-5 h depending on how busy an airport is. 

When running MSFS + RT + PSXT you will see Live Traffic moving and parked aircraft from the airport file. Live Aircraft that park at a gate will also be added to the airport file.

I agree, but I would argue that EINN Shannon is even more overdue. I just hope that MK Studios decide to release a P3D version of Cork.....and hopefully Shannon at some point after that.

Ireland has been generally missed when it comes to scenery, yes we've had Dublin, but nothing outside of Dublin until iniscene released Kerry Farranfore Airport. With the announcement by MKS a while ago about Cork being on their list of developments, I was delighted to see Irelands second buisest airport finally getting some attention.

Before Aerosoft released Dublin a few years back for FSX/P3D, the only rendition of Cork, Shannon and Dublin was by Eiresim, but Eiresim ceased operations thus SNN, ORK and DUB were stuck in the era of 2010'ish.

I have moved all my sim usage to MSFS, and we've had some awesome freeware for many airfields throughout Ireland, and hopefully the future is bright for the big payware airports for this great country.

 

It makes me laugh that anyone would want to sim into Fiumicino. 

It's a disastrous airport. Taxiing is a nightmare. Alitalia are hooning around with reckless abandon.

I hate the place in real life. Would rather stub my toe than simulate the experience!

Looks decidedly underwhelming.

It is one of my favorite airports : I like the view of the airport , flying over Rome and the sea when descending.
