And if you can add some bass boost to your audio, it will enhance the experience even further!

Considering the sound of my flights already drifts through to the floor below, maybe that's not the best idea when I'm not using headphones!😁

I did not, but I'll give that a try!

Definitely improved the sound, although I'm still trying to train myself not to hear that lawnmower in the background.😊

Landing at Pearson Int, Toronto earlier.

Nice! Just keep thinking Pratt&Whitney and the lawnmower will be history!

An interesting article and a good read.

Note the comments about running tanks dry and the difficulties landing in a crosswind seem to ring true for the Carenado version as well.

The 1943 US Military POH simply states "Crosswind landings - Avoid crosswind landings whenever practicable":

Thanks for the owners report.

Informative an a good laugh.

"Coarsening the pitch control slightly after power checks spares any spectators the unpleasant rasping sound of the propeller tips going supersonic, plus more of your fuel will turn into thrust rather than noise."

etc.

No DC3 without the DC2

Nice video and agree a nice landing.  It was fairly obvious there is something loose in the landing gear doors and it can be seen flapping at 2.43-2.53. and is obvious in a number of other places including 6.53.  😟.

I'm sure after they saw this video, they had that fixed right up. 😉

Cheers

No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea.

Sorry Goose, but it's time to buzz the tower!

I haven't actually.  I will try to do one.  Pretty swamped right now in life and on the 414 forums though hehe

Late to the party, but nice airplane. I will agree that the lack of any need for rudder is odd in a powerful radial engine. Also, feels a bit like its on rails... but it trims up real nice for a hands off cruise experience. Sounds great, nice and a fast... for the money I am not complaining.
