I'm assuming traditionally no autopilot?  Which is  a shame given 1300 miles range

I'm guessing the default keys work...usually Z to engage and A for altitude H for heading hold.  Might have to bind them.

That would be great. My autopilot keys already have binding. Can someone else confirm?

Where did you get 1300 miles range from? I'm pretty sure it's about half of that.

FWIW the product page in Marketplace specifies 670nm and a fuel capacity of 126 gal.

Doesn't even have a transponder so definitely nothing like that in the cockpit.

I couldn't resist buying this beauty. IMO, one of the most beautiful planes to ever grace the skies.

Now, if only I could find the handbook somewhere...even just the airspeed limitations would be of great help.

It'll be a challenge to fly this thing over a long distance. Maybe no autopilot, but one could almost fly hands free by trimming the yin-yang out of it, no? (Except for the hidden keys by MSFS, but that would just spoil it)

There doesn't look to have been a full manual for either the P3D or X-Plane versions so I'm not sure if MS are going to be able to persuade Carenado to do one for this version.

What Carenado supplied instead is a two page extract for the PoH with some performance info
https://s3.amazonaws.com/alaprod01/Documents/D17PerformanceInformation.pdf
and a link to PoH of the Army version that doesn't work if you don't pay to sign up to Avialogs (it might not work even if you do, I'm not going to pay to find out)

Most useful numbers fromthe docs look to be the table on the second page (assuming the model stays close to the official numbers)

The PoH for the Army version has now been posted to Google Drive

So I bought it and kind of disappointed. During climb there is absolutely no need for right rudder because Carenado Beech is not affected by P factor or torque. Also there is no way to use autopilot via default binding keys. It's just not there. Sure beautiful texture and model, great for AI aircraft otherwise waste of money.
