They have definitely gone off the boil.  They used to be a top company.

I suspect that the simulator market has changed. They don't need to listen to hardcore base because the MSFS, 'game' market has exploded, and those folks are not interested in 'true' simulation. They want 'eye candy', and bridges to fly under using an XBox controller.

This 'top' developer is obviously done investing in 'in-depth', simulation and is more focused on the 'numbers game'.

Lets just pray developers like PDMG, A2A etc. don't follow that model or we may end up with a bunch of Carenados. (I am not putting down Carenado; but lets face it, they don't produce for the 'study level' market).

Just my opinion.......some of it based on what I seen in live player mode.

Live player ever since FSX has always been a joke and a magnet for morons. I never use it.

What's particularly galling is that the earlier CRJ wasn't bad, far from perfect, but it showed a Dev team that was at least putting in some effort.

The Twotter however feels like it was just abadonned without anyone carrying what state it was in when released.

eg The fact that the Dev responsible for the control setup didn't understand why you'd only want to feather one prop at a time really doesn't inspire confidence in the project.

Hopefully they will release an update that supports the GTN options we now have (TDS and PMS)

I am certainly a fan of the PMS version.  What does TDS offer that would be different?

Was this seriously a thing? That... is hilarious.

Do you know if any of the mods work with the marketplace version?

Got the marketplace version since I figured it would be easier to keep up to date vs. having a separate installer / updater for each any every publisher / developer. I now regret that, since I didn't realize the MP versions were more difficult to mod - something that Asobo needs to address - the MP versions of a product should be just as accessible / modable as the direct versions.

Having said that, I know they are in an understandable pickle with the (very necessary) security requirements on the XBOX and maintaining consistency across platforms.

I made it a rule months ago to avoid the Marketplace, period.

FWIW- despite the shortcomings I enjoy shoehorning her into tight strips… waited for her, and I’m glad she’s getting attention. She has the potential to be superb!
