And many users use Live weather. I check weather with Metars when I fly, and it is pretty accurate.

Except for clear weather …..

I  believe the popcorn clouds are cloud seeds that are supposed to be p me big clouds.

I only get these with live weather but they never seem to mature.

Yup...the popcorn clouds "popped up" starting with the SU8 Beta.  I reported it immediately in the official SU8 BETA section of the official forums and it was 'logged as a bug' and then I think the thread was locked.  These clouds are definitely not correct.  It was severe clear along east coast US yesterday and I had them during the entire flight using Live WX.  Stations were all reporting CLR along the way.  They certainly would not look bad once in a while but clearly something is messed up with the WX engine.  They also appeared to have conveniently ignored this issue in their last Q&A session...

I think the tiny popcorn clouds were added to go along with all the saltiness in the forums...

I don't think they did ignore this; they simply covered weather holistically. Not forgetting they said in a previous update that weather will be continually worked on, in the last Q&A they expanded on this by explaining that everything you see in terms of cloud rendering is produced by the data being fed into the sim, and they are currently exploring other weather data partners. So, I take it that some are seeing popcorn clouds in clear sky conditions because the data being sent by their current partner is inaccurate.

very nice.

Fortunately/unfortunately for me we have not had real world clear skies locally for months so I never have this issue.

I understand some people may have problems with weather depiction in some parts of the world. In aeras where I fly weather is greatly improve and pretty much in par with real weather. Once in a while we do have popcorn clouds IRL .They not always captured by METAR because they hang above terminal forecast area. We either fly above or below them (VFR)

I don't disagree with you, I was complaining at Zeus, the one in charge of better real world clouds 😀
