Well then your LNM navdata will be outdated also?

I can tell to LNM to don't use the Navigraph database, in this way LNM reads directly from the sim updated AIRAC, it's no perfect but it works, and it's free.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

Wow, I wasn't aware of that?

The FBW team is indeed amazing. I am more confident in this product than the Fenix.

LOL! The battery was drained on the EFB on loading the flight and I had to charge up before it would turn on. Superb stuff!😀

Yes, it does. And it is better than spend a lot of money for a Navigraph subscription. I don't know why FBW preferred this Simbrief line, instead of to follow a simpler (and free) way to import the flight plane in their A320 from LNM.

Well, Simbrief is also free and it couldn’t be easier to click the button on the EFB to have all (incl. fuel nowadays) set as planned. Perfect for me

Yep the implementation using simbrief is too nice and seamless for me to give up.. outdated airac or not. The airac used in Simbrief may not be top notch  but its not too difficult to transpose the differences. The Sim is on the latest one anyway so even though your using an outdated one to generate the route in simbrief.. your using the latest one in the sim when it gets imported to the mcdu.

Hardly an issue... If LNM wants to join in on the action i would hope its not at the expense of the Simbrief integration ... Its just waay too slick and well done at the moment.

Also if the airac in simbrief is an issue you can update the cycle to something more current and end the sub. You should still have access to that unlocked airac. (If this is not possible someone correct me)

Hi Dad, as I said before, Simbrief is free just for one outdated useless AIRAC cycle. We need a complete Navigraph paid subscription for 8.30 EUR monthly (VAT not included), also we have to install the Navigraph apps to make the AIRAC cycles updated and to have all the other "benefits" (charts, moving maps, etc.). I want to make it simpler, with my LNM install that makes good flight planes for MSFS, but not for the A320 FBW.

Good enough for me. But to each his own, not gonna argue here. Guess I am just not hard core enough anymore, was that years ago when I even bought quite a few Jeppesen chart sets in the slick leather binders.

Those work differently. simBrief works by making the OFP available on its servers via an API call. Our plane has access to the network since its FMS is not running in WASM - so it is simple for us to retrieve the flight plan and load it.

For LNM, we would need to read local files, and there are only two ways to do that:

- You'd need to have the FMS written in C++/Rust and running in WASM - but then this doesn't work with simBrief anymore (see above) and the majority of our user base uses simBrief.

- You'd need to run a local server to hand over data to the aircraft using network calls. This is actually something we plan to do for local charts and remote instruments. However, LNM import is not yet a priority in that regard.

Cheaper than Spotify and Netflix subscriptions and you get good deal out of that, where is the issue?

Nope ..Just did Tirana to Pisa .. not a hiccup to be seen. (The weather implementation must have improved .. Lots of cloud layers with 100% overcast coming out of TIrana)

I’ve also seen an increase in weather quality. And just did a flight YBBN Brissy to Sydney YSSY no issues.
