It's Friday!! Where is Santa Randazzo?

Anyone feel the Cockpit graphic is subpar and comparable only to P3D level, it looks cartoonish.

Likely busy doing final calculations on the 737’s flux capacitor that admittedly most simmers will never notice.

PMDG's main selling point is how accurate it performs - visuals has always been secondary - kind of like the opposite to Carenado 🙂

The DC6 doesn't seem to be performing accurately? In fact it's not performing at all.

was something broken with SU9 ?

Just started a flight with her, so far everything works as usual.

She could desperately need updates however. Better textures, smoke on the engine startup, things like that.

They haven't touched the plane ever again since July 2021.

My guess... I would say that he is currently writing a 3000 words post to tell us that the 737 is delayed by a week

Captains.

I had hoped to have the 737 in your hands for this weekend, but unfortunately the landing bug has proven to be more elusive than we anticipated. We have been talking to our friends at Asobo, and while this isn’t really their fault, the SDK currently limits our ability to solve the issue. So they had better word not allowed fix it, or we will go back to developing for X-plane.

The team working on the updated P3D 777 cockpit are steadily approaching their goal, and we hope to have that feature ready for you some time in Q4 2031. The timeframe has extended somewhat, as our current team working on P3D consists of one of our kids, and their dog.

Rest assured that we will have the 737 ready for you as soon as humanly possible. Whilst PMDG never, ever give out release dates, I can say that it’s possible and maybe even likely that you might be flying it next weekend, or at least that would be a really nice thing for all of us if it somehow actually happened.

With the upcoming hotfix to SU9 announced yesterday by Asobo, I would assume they would want to test the 737 against that before the initial public release of the airplane. The hotfix might not have any effect (good or bad) on the current version of the 737 - or it might break it.

But then shouldn’t they wait until after world update 9 which is just a few weeks away? And then update 10 after that? That’s if there’s not a hotfix between the two. And so on and on…. I understand what you’re saying, but there are somewhat major updates in one form or another every single month.

Exactly.  Developers would never release titles if they kept waiting to see if the next SU would affect it.
