Assuming each release are priced the same and are not altered during the rollout.

I'm sure they'll be smart with their strategy... many enthusiasts have a $99 credit which they'll have to eat, so they'll want an approach that will extract additional cash from that crowd, while not scaring off the new or more casual user. Pricing in the $75 range ensures,  there will be enough of a credit left after buying one, that PMDG will pick up a good amount on the purchase of a second. Also, since most will want an 800 in their fleet, releasing the smaller aircraft first, strongly encourages a minimum of two purchases from the line.

You know this is advertising what we're willing to pay before PMDG announces what they'll charge.  They could easily have planned to charge $45 and we foolishly have a poll saying we'll pay way over that.  What do you think they'll charge and every other vendor after that?   FS add-ons were never meant to cost as much as P3D add-ons but at this rate we'll be paying exactly that. This type of price advertising goes against any of us as customers best interest... 🙁👎

I am just wondering, would you rather get a package with two variants, 600+800, 700+900 or get a single variant with multiple version, pax, cargo, bbj for exemple, at the same price?

I don't think our vote here is going to have any effect on the pricing decision - Avsim is the home of the hardcore simmers, RSR knows we'd be willing to pay any price 😁

The great thing about MSFS is that it enables them to reach a much larger audience of casual simmers who might want to dip a toe into the world of so-called study level planes without spending too much money. This point in favour of lower prices stays the same, no matter what we vote in here.

The 700 comes with some variants such as the BBJ. That's what I saw in one of the YT videos.

I know, but what would you or any other avsim member prefer?

I'll be happy with a passenger, Cargo, and the BBJ.

Interesting, I would rather have two variants and pick up version as addons

It's still foolish to advertise what we as customers will pay.  Let PMDG tell us first what they'll charge as it might be less that what we thought.  Don't get me wrong PMDG deserves allot for what they put their hard-earned time into but let them have the first say.  It might surprise us all high or low.

For me it would be the BBJ seeing the Traffic issue isn't fully resolved in FS to give accurate airlines at airports and traffic patterns in FS.  Our current options are fully cutting it.  I'd rather fly the BBJ into smaller executive airports until the airliner environment is fully realized.

You don't hink they haven't already asked/ascertained what the market will pay?

Given that they released their pricing decision a couple of minutes ago, about 6 hours after you started the poll, it's highly likely you're an undercover PMDG agent who made the poll only to help with the final decision 😁

Just kidding of course!
