May 7, 20224 yr Assuming each release are priced the same and are not altered during the rollout. I'm sure they'll be smart with their strategy... many enthusiasts have a $99 credit which they'll have to eat, so they'll want an approach that will extract additional cash from that crowd, while not scaring off the new or more casual user. Pricing in the $75 range ensures, there will be enough of a credit left after buying one, that PMDG will pick up a good amount on the purchase of a second. Also, since most will want an 800 in their fleet, releasing the smaller aircraft first, strongly encourages a minimum of two purchases from the line. May 7, 20224 yr Not sure why you have over $100 USD as an option when Randazzo has implied in multiple ways that the price won't be over $100 USD already. It just adds to the confusion and there is enough confusion about the pricing. Edited May 7, 20224 yr by abrams_tank i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

And that includes 49.50 😉 Edited May 7, 20224 yr by pstrub My simming system: AMD Ryzen 5800X3D, 32GB RAM, RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB, LG 38" 3840x1600
May 7, 20224 yr So, if I bought it already for FSX P3D, and this one sells for less than $100 (and I get the alleged $100 rebate on this one) does PMDG send me a check for the remaining $$$...! Chris Camp

May 7, 20224 yr It's important to mention that the 100 dollar rebate isn't for everybody who bought the fsx/p3d 737. it's specifically for people who bought the 737NGXu for p3dv4/5 within a particular promotion they ran for about a month in 2019. I don't want people getting excited for no reason.

Also wondering if they'll announce pricing for all variants at the launch (just to keep us in suspense). Maybe do the 600 and 700 at $59 and the 800 and 900 at $79? Hmmmm... 😆 [email protected] - ROG Strix Z790-E - 2X16Gb G.Skill Trident DDR5 6400 CL32 - MSI RTX 4090 Suprim X - WD SN850X 2 TB M.2 - XPG S70 Blade 2 TB M.2 - MSI A1000G PCIE5 1000 W 80+ Gold PSU - Liam Li 011 Dynamic Razer case - 58" Panasonic TC-58AX800U 4K - Pico 4 VR HMD - WinWing HOTAS Orion2 MAX - ProFlight Pedals - TrackIR 5 - W11 Pro (Passmark:12574, CPU:63110-Single:4785, GPU:50688)

May 7, 20224 yr if you factor the price around number of available package types (cargo/BBJ/etc.) the 700 and 800 would be more expensive, and the 600 and 900 would be cheaper. Only one I'm not interested in is the 900. I know the airlines love the stretched fuselages for obvious reasons, but I always like the shorter models. bring on the 600 for me, even though it's a dud in the real biz, reminds me of the older versions. ditto on the a318/319 for the airbus.
May 7, 20224 yr 1. RSR has stated several times that he expects customers to be pleasantly surprised by the price. Earlier, he also indicated that he, himself, was pleasantly surprised by the number of people who bought the DC-6,. Let's remember that many of use were surprised at how low the original price was on that plane. I believe it was $54.99 on release week. 2. There can be little doubt that more people will be interested in buying the 737 (at least one variant, and some more than that), depending on the price, This will include a combination of log-time, loyal PMDG fans,a s well as many newcomers to flight-simming. This should help them get the cost down, thus increasing sales, and increasing the number of people that would be willing to purchase additional variants. And so, based on the above, I am guessing that they will go even lower than the original price point of the DC-6. I think it will be US $49.99. This will generate a huge number of sales, and set them up for many additional sales of the other variants. As for variant pricing, my guess is that they will keep this price point, except perhaps for the -800 which may be 5-10 dollars higher, because it seems to be everyone's favorite. Andrew Jones
