PMDG need to recompile during loadup after every update?

Featured Replies

I noticed that after updating to MSFS 1.25.9.0 that when loading the PMDG 737 again, it's taking a long time to load up. Is this the case with every SU/WU for MSFS?

My experience with the PMDG bird is as short as any other day one buyer but I have long time experience with the Aerosoft CRJ Profession Suite. Those planes use WASM code too and first load and subsequent after update takes minutes not seconds.

Yes, WASM planes will need recompiling after every update - SU, WU and plane update.

Am I losing my mind, but don't some of the autopilot knobs and lights on the PMDG 737 look very difficult after the SU9 patch today?

Could it be different aircraft have either the Honeywell or Collins MCP?

Yep any plane with WASM like PMDG, maddog, crj and FBW after every update . Not a big deal though
