May 22, 20224 yr One of the threads that have been lost due to all the Fenix A320 talk, is WU9 Italy & Malta. I re-installed the update and did a couple of flights. The second time around the trees appeared a little smaller, but there were still trees in many places where they should not be in Rome. I had less micro pauses but was turned off by the awful looking PG trees. Milan is also a little stuttery and ugly PG trees all over the city. I'd like your read about your experience with WU9 and where have you been flying so that I can check them out. This is a beautiful region that deserves a little love. MSFS
May 22, 20224 yr Im getting msfs2020 shortly so cannot try out this program now, but i saw "WU tree fix Italy" that appears to reduce treesize in the region. Might be worth a look at.

It's the worst WU release. Many PG buildings look melted and the trees look like rocks. Now Iberia & Australia were excellent releases. I'm probably going to delete this area permanently. It's that bad. Edited May 22, 20224 yr by DJJose MSFS
May 22, 20224 yr Shame that. I didnt know how lovely some of these Italy regions are (partly my own ignorance:)) but also learning from msfs2020 : like a travel guide. Oh well at least world scenery is really good overall. Just watched the start of 'FlyBysimulations' 40 + min video of Australia update. A maze inn 🎡 Edited May 22, 20224 yr by icewater5
May 22, 20224 yr I’m curious if anyone has had good experiences using Rex accuseasons to deal with this tree issue? I saw that they had a tree height modifier in their program. I’ve been using Bijan’s seasons for a while but they’re not being kept up to date at present (I understand he has some real life things he needs to focus on right now). I have been using Accu Seasons since it came out and I love the automation; it does a very good job, to the point that I took Bijan's out. There is one small glitch with a type of tree that has a very radiant color (I forget the tree name, but it appears a lot in California), but I'm sure it will be fixed. I recommend it. May 22, 20224 yr Here it looks quiet good. At release lots of trees were way too tall, but internally they have solved that. Myself I now see less too tall trees than before. Performance on both my pc’s is very good. Up to now I have made several flights to/from LIRF and LIML and it looks like I see on real pics…. Does reinstalling WU9 make any change? Doesn’t Asobo change those trees on the server side?

May 23, 20224 yr Naples looks bombed out now. They ruined Naples in my opinion. It just looks bad they should have added way less PG.
