I would like to edit the Sting S4 into a Bushtrip.

Usually I open the aircraft.cfg to check the sim name of the plane. Obviously this is encrypted in this case.

Could you tell me what name in a Bushtrip FLT I would have to choose for the Sting S4?

Ahhh, that explains it.

@simbol, I’m thoroughly enjoying the plane and it’s fast becoming my go-to for sightseeing. However I’m finding it popping up everywhere as static AI which is really quite distracting. There’s a tiny glider field in the mountains of Japan I like to use for evening flights and four or five S4s fill all of the static spots!

Any advice?

This is not posible, the aircraft config is set to not be used as AI traffic.. must be a MSFS bug..

isUserSelectable=1
isFlyable=1
canBeUsedByAITraffic=0

That is how I configured the models, and in accordance to the SDK documentation see below, you should not be seeing it unless there is MP traffic?

I've seen the S4 parked at many GA airports.

I like it and enjoy seeing them.

is the only tweak I know.

If the bush trips work like Neofly they will actually use a livery name of some sort.

Just as an explanation :
to use a diferent aircraft in a Bushtrip, one has to edit the FLT File.
If you look into the FLT file of the Bushtrip Iberian connection, one navigates to the
.....\OneStore\microsoft-bushtrip-iberiaconnection\Missions\Microsoft\BushTrips\iberiaconnection
and opens "microsoft-bushtrip-iberiaconnection.FLT" with an editor.

Here the aircraft to be used is defined by the line 
Sim=DA62 Asobo
Now, the sim Name of an aircraft is usually to be found in the aircraft.cfg in the FLTSim section in "title="
If I were to fly this Bushtrip with the JustFlight BAe 146-200 with the Air Canada Livery, I would use
sim=Just Flight 146-200 Air Canada Jazz
As this aircraft.cfg of the Sting S4 cannot be opened to look up the "title=" Sim Name, I was enquiring the Name of the Sting S4 internarnally to the sim to put it in there where it reads DA62 Asobo.

I usually fly all the Microsoft Bushtrips with a plane of my choice and just edit it in.
I find the Sting S4 would be perfect to use with all those Microsoft Bushtrips I have not flown yet. The Bushtrips are usaully really nice routes but the planes are some default Asobo planes, so I use different ones.

It's an odd question, I get it 🤣

If i do this, multiplayer model matching would not work. In other words, if a group flight between 2 or more users using all the Sting S4 occurs, they would not see each other. So unfortunately I can't implement that..
