Feature request, simbrief integration?

Featured Replies

Hello! Would it be possible to implement a simbrief integration with P2A? Would be a giant quality of life increase to have the FP Import menu have the ability to inject the current active simbrief OFP for a given simbrief pilotid or username.

Not sure if Navigraph/Simbrief charges for such a thing for P2A, but I know it's freely available for me via their api.

Along with the route, more things could automatically be entered into P2A:

  • P2A "Callsign" derived from/based on Simbrief <airline> which is equivalent to P2A airline code i believe
  • Flight number for airline using <fltnum> (dropping leading 0's)
  • Stepclimb ALT data
  • Possibly descent rate or TOD data? Not sure if that's available directly without parsing the OFP which seems a little out of scope
  • Other things? unsure 🙂

Agree, this would be hands down the single best feature ever been added to P2A... 😍

I'm starting to want this AP more and more.

I'm going to start a new thread because I'm going to fully invest myself in Pilot2ATC.
