Lamborghini V Police

Featured Replies

Astonishing how many times this guy gets stopped by the police. Understandable given the unusual licence plate issue, but you'd think he'd get sick of the hassle on his road trips and hire a car instead of shipping the Lamborghini over.

This guy must really love his red Lamborghini

Lesson number one: Don't tell a US police officer he's confused. (3:52)

Before you drive in another country you should be aware of state laws. The cops were just doing their job.

Did you watch the whole video? Err.... no, it was the cops that hadn't got a clue about state laws. The driver was fully compliant, they were clueless to the law because they didn't come across that situation often.

Ignorance happens, but no need for that one cop to be downright rude, arrogantly proclaim he he was right, and then upon realising he wasn't stating a falsehood and then just walking off.

IMHO, that's a good example of trolling.

Who was trolling? The guy was being polite. And was within the law.

Even when he is confused? This guy faces this over and over again on his trips. He appreciates its a complex, confusing situation so points outcthat he appreciates its confusing.

Nothing wrong with that.

Some of the cops were neutral, some were friendly, one arrogant rude and wrong, and one somewhat rude.

I'd hire a car if I were him.

Yes I did watch it all. In the U.S. You don't operate an automobile without a license plate without getting stopped. The cop had a more urgent call. Maybe you weren't listening.

Ever since I saw the old TV series "Disorderly Conduct", I have always assumed a police officer who stops me could be having a bad day and is likely to be a bit testy.

How much would it cost to ship a vehicle by air from Dubai to North America? I cynically think he likes to impress people with his unique car but that doesn't work in Dubai where even the police cars are Lamborghinis, Ferraris and Bugattis so he takes it with him when he travels abroad.

Of course... and he fully expected to get stopped, and he didn't complain about it, hence why he had all his documents ready and waiting to present.

He may, or may not have had a more urgent call, but that's no excuse for having a bad attitude right from the start, being arrogant, asking the guy a question then interupting him, insisting he knew what he was talking about when he hadn't a clue and generally being rude.

Compare the above to some of the other cops who were polite, friendly and actually listened to what the driver said.

Especially the Canadian ones, if I may say.

I don't think we should speculate about the guys character. From what I understand this is a road trip, special occasion, he and his friends engage in with their rare, favorite cars. He does it all over the world, regardless of how common exotic care are in that location.

Especially since it doesn't corner well....🙂.....Doug
